Float Free EPIRB “Marlin-406”, designed by Marlin-Yug Ltd, has taken in May 2006 the Type Approval Certificate TAC 161. The Certificate is available at the site http://www.cospas-sarsat.org/Beacons/typeApprovedList.htm. The manufacturer of the EPIRB will be Kolgrim-Don Ltd (Rostov-na-Dony, Russia). The manufacturing should be started in 4-th quarter of 2006.
